The Estate Planning & Probate Law Section will meet Tuesday, November 12 from 12:00 – 1:00 p.m. via Zoom

Topic: Accountings for Trusts and Estates: Avoiding Common Mistakes and Streamlining the Process. Rebecca Martin, CPA, will present on issues that she routinely encounters in her practice and highlight areas where attorneys can help make accountings easier, less confusing, and less expensive.

A reminder that we will be having elections for the section’s Executive Committee at the upcoming meeting. Three members’ terms are up this season: Abigail O’Connor, Casey Carruth-Hinchey, and Chelsea Riekkola. Both Abby and Casey would like to continue serving on the committee. Chelsea is stepping down and Emil Betro, a colleague of Chelsea’s at Foley & Pearson, has volunteered to fill her vacancy. Since no other candidates have volunteered, we would like to hold a quick vote to approve the slate of Abigail O’Connor, Casey Carruth-Hinchey, and Emil Betro. The three year committee term starts immediately and ends in the fall of 2027.
